DJ KHALED FEAT NAS, SCARFACE & DJ PREMIER - HIP HOP

DJ Khaled brings along Nas, Scarface and DJ Premier for the Justice League produced 'Hip Hop.'

INTRODUCING ZZ WARD

ZZ Ward is a singer-songwriter born in Pennsylvania and raised in Oregon. She grew up listening to her dad performing in Blues bands and when she was old enough she performed with him. As she got older she started writing hooks for local rappers which led to her falling in love with Hip-Hop. You can hear the fusion of the two in her music with some very Hip-Hop infused productions.

She released her debut mixtape 'Eleven Roses' which you can download from here or listen to it below. She is currently preparing her debut album and has been working with Hip-Hop great DJ Premier.

DJ PREMIER & BUMBY KNUCKLES - WE ARE AT WAR

Some classic Premier production on this cut taken from his and Bumby Knuckles 'KoleXXXion' album. The track is titled 'We Are At War.'

RE:GENERARTION

The 'Re:Generation' music project sees artists from two different genres of music coming together to make a track fusing the two. The project sees the likes of DJ Premier, Mark Ronson and Skrillex working with artists from of genres to create something entirely new. You can watch the trailer for the documentary below.

TUESDAY THROWBACKS

So I've just realized the past two Sunday's have been missing the 'Sunday Classics' series, therefore I'm gonna give you two of my favorite classic cuts today. First up we have DJ Premier's 'Classic' featuring Kanye, Rakim, KRS One and Nas. Not only is the production on this on point but the line up of artists is literally 'Classic.'



The second track I have chosen is 'You Got Me' by the Roots featuring Erykah Badu, a real old school Hip Hop / R & B Jam.
