BBC SOUND OF 2012 LONG LIST


The BBC yesterday announced their long list for their 'Sound Of 2012' poll. The list includes

  • Jamie N Commons
  • Lianne La Havas
  • Michael Kiwanuka
  • Niki & The Dove

  • Stooshe
It is a very diverse list this year and readers of this blog should already be very familiar with A$AP Rocky, Azealia Banks, Flux Pavillion, Dot Rotten and Skrillex. I am going to do a profile on each artist leading up to Christmas, so stay tuned for those. 

The Top 5 and Winner will be decided in January of next year.

FLUX PAVILION - SUPERBAD

New track from Flux Pavilion titled 'Superbad.' The track fuses Dubstep and Funk but I'm not to sure what to think about it to be honest, maybe its a grower.

PRODUCERS I LOVE PART TWO

So part two of 'Producers I Love' features UK Dubstep producer Flux Pavillion. Although Flux has been releasing Dubstep music since 2008, he made big moves towards the back end of 2010 continuing into 2011. Flux is the co-founder of Circus records along with Doctor P and DJ-Swan E. If you don't know much about him, I am going to introduce my three favourite tracks/remixes of his.

First up has to be the huge 'I Can't Stop' taken from the EP of the same name featuring three other great tracks. Check out the song below.
