MUSIC TIPS FOR 2012

I am going to run down my top 10 tips for 2012. The one rule to be eligible for this list is that the artists featured cannot have released an album before the 1st January 2012.

10) Nina Nesbitt
Having toured with Example and Ed Sheeran at the back end of last year, 2012 could be a breakout year for the Edinburgh born singer/songwriter. She released her debut EP 'Live Takes' in December and this is just a short snippet of whats to come.



9) Sam Frank
Frequent Skream collaborator and excellent songwriter Sam Frank is looking to go it alone in 2012. His debut single 'Simple Life' was released on the 1st January and I one for one am looking forward to many more Talkbox tracks in 2012.

TIP has uploaded his 'Love You Up' EP to the internet over the weekend and I must say it is a stroke of genius. The EP includes five tracks and can be bought from here.

INTRODUCING TWO INCH PUNCH

Two Inch Punch self-titled LoveStep is different from any style of Music I've heard. He uses vocal samples mixed with an eclectic mix of production. With drums that could be compared to the likes of Flying Lotus and synths that make you want to start tweaking, Two Inch Punch is definitely on to something here.

His 'Love You Up' EP was released at the end of last month and is available to buy on the internet. Below you can listen to two of the tracks taken from his Soundcloud. These are 'Love You Up' and 'Up In Your Mix.'
